Kmart #9761 Visalia, CA Closing

It was announced on October 15, 2018 that the Kmart location in Visalia, CA would be closing. This store will close sometime in January 2019. This location is located on Noble Ave and shares a parking lot with Save Mart Supermarket. This store didn't have a Little Caesars/Cafe, Pharmacy or a Auto Center. I'm not sure if it ever had these but if they did they remodeled the space pretty good. This store had lots of people working and putting merchandise up onto the shelves. I overheard one of the managers saying they were getting trucks in until after Thanksgiving! As you enter the store the customer service desk is directly on your right with the registers next to it. Jewelry is also across from the registers. The fitting room and the baby section is located on the front wall on the right. Layaway is located along the back wall near the right corner next to the back bathrooms. The electronics and appliances is located on the front wall to the left next to the garden center. The food pantry is in the middle aisles across from the electronics/health & beauty area.

This store has 9 registers and 4 of them were open on my visit.

Well that concludes the closing tour of this Kmart. This area was hit hard by Sears/Kmart bankruptcy as the Kmart locations in Delano, Lemoore, Visalia and the Sears in Bakersfield are all closing. The Kmart in Clovis was already closing prior to the bankruptcy. The next Kmart to be uploaded will be the Lemoore location. I hope to make it back to these locations before they close forever.
