Kmart #3982 Lemoore, CA Closing

It was announced on October 15, 2018 that the Kmart location in Lemoore, CA would be closing. This store will close sometime in January 2019. This location is on Hanford-Armona Rd and shares a parking lot with Save Mart Supermarket. The closest Walmart is located in Hanford about 8 miles away and is one of Walmart's top stores in California. The Little Caesars had just recently closed right before my visit on 11/7/18 but the outdoor sign and the advertisements on the cart corrals were still up. I was surprised by how much merchandise this store had and the the fact that they were a few weeks into liquidating and they still receive a regular truck shipments! They had merchandise lined up along aisles that had their store number and the date of 11/6/18 on the shipping labels! When you enter the store the customer service desk is to the left with the little Caesars next to it with the registers to the right. Then the pharmacy area is along the front wall and electronics all the way in the front right corner of the store. The food pantry is located adjacent to the pharmacy and the garden center along the right wall near electronics. Sporting goods in the back right corner with layaway located behind it. Appliances along the back wall with the baby section in the back left corner. The fitting rooms along the left wall next to the jewelry department. Lets start the closing tour outside...

One last shot of the front of the store. I hope the landlord can find another retailer to come in here and succeed where Kmart as a whole couldn't. I will be visiting this store a few more times before they close as it is my "local" Kmart location.
